When my dog Sam was not recovering as expected after a complex surgery, it became clear that I needed expert support in intensive care and pain management. That was when I turned to Dr. Tamás Ambriskó, who – despite being abroad and in a different time zone – was available every day, guiding us with outstanding professional precision and remarkable empathy.
With careful adjustments to Sam’s therapy and pain management, his condition gradually improved. Thanks to his stabilized state, the following critical surgery could be performed successfully – and today Sam is completely healthy.
Dr. Ambriskó’s work not only played a crucial role in Sam’s recovery, but also gave me strength and reassurance during a very difficult time. As a veterinarian myself, I have learned a great deal from him: his perspective, his therapeutic thinking, and his human approach continue to inspire my own practice.
I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking precise, compassionate, and truly professional support in the field of intensive care and pain management.
Nature of the consultation
This service is an informal online discussion, during which we talk through the animal’s current condition and possible next steps for the sake of its health and well-being.
The consultation does not include:
-
Extended e-mail exchanges before or after the call.
-
Detailed, time-consuming review of medical records or test results (possible, but subject to time-based fees).
-
A comprehensive written expert opinion (short feedback via e-mail is possible).
-
A detailed analysis of past events for the purpose of assigning blame. If the goal is to learn from past mistakes without searching for conflicts, I am happy to help.
-
Criticism of another veterinarian’s work or legal/disciplinary opinions regarding colleagues.
-
Important: My aim is to help improve the animal’s condition in the present and future, not to settle disputes about the past.
Consultation fee
- 100 EUR + VAT per session, up to a maximum of 30 minutes.
- After that, each additional 15 minutes is charged at 50 EUR + VAT.
