If this is your first time attending and you are unsure about your knowledge of anesthesiology, it might be worth starting with a one-day basic theoretical training (previously known as a roundtable discussion). Practice doesn’t make much sense without theory. However, it is ideal to participate in a practical day after a day of theory. If you would like to do a practice with me in your own office, you can find the conditions for this under the current training courses. If you have already completed the basic training and would like to delve deeper into anesthesiology, consider participating in the intermediate training. I recommend the following downloadable documents:

  • Collection of Anesthesiology Figures (updated 2024.11.24.)
  • Dose Calculation Table and CRI Calculator
  • Anesthesia Diary / Filling in the
  • Anesthesia Diary
  • Shopping List of Useful Things

The training is sponsored by EndoVet Plus Ltd. Mindray anesthesia machines, especially the Veta5 anesthesia and ventilator, play an important role in the training. We will also use this machine to administer anesthesia during the practice.

testimonials

My colleagues and I found it extremely useful, and we still apply what you said to this day. We listened to an interesting, easy-to-understand presentation with many practical examples.

dr. dóra szabó

I recommend it to every clinical colleague of mine, as we monitor anesthesia every day and complications need to be noticed and managed. Tamás’ energetic presentation style, endless patience, and unparalleled commitment to making sure we understand what he wants to teach us, so that we can become better professionals, was a special experience.

dr. Maja Korodi

It was very useful, there was nothing similar on this topic. The assistants also understood most of it, it was very to the point and practical, as we have come to expect from Tamás. Every word can be used in our practice.

dr. ZSELYKE SZENTPÉTERY

Dear colleagues and interested parties! I would like to summarize my recent experiences in the newly published anesthesiology training in a few sentences. I have been a practicing veterinarian for several years, recently a clinical veterinarian, and I perform minor and major soft-tissue surgeries and anesthetize animals every day. Despite this, I still felt a lack in anesthesiology. That is why I applied for Dr. Tamás Ambriskó’s anesthesiology training. I was curious about what a roundtable discussion and a practice workshop would be like. I attended both and was absolutely not disappointed. The roundtable discussion was really an interactive conversational event, not too insistent on presenting every slide. Since Tamás also organized an anesthesia machine, there was also a small practical demonstration at the end. As for the practice workshop, the initial few theories and introductions to tools, specifically the anesthetization and monitoring of animals in the operating room and then in real life during surgeries, were very useful. Before and after both events, Tamás provided us with a sufficient amount of training material, very important with information needed every day. After the service I received, I felt I had to share this with my colleagues, and since several of us work in a practice, we invited Tamás for a whole weekend to share his knowledge and help our doctors and assistants in their daily work. I can only recommend to every colleague who feels like they would like to improve in the field of anesthetization and monitoring of small animals to apply for these short, concise, practical training courses, they will certainly be very useful.
